We are committed to following the law and protecting our pharmacists, as well as our prescribing providers.

Equine & Small Animal Compounded Preparations

When it comes to compounding preparations for veterinarians, we understand that the dosage required is based on the weight and characteristics of the animal. Traditional formulations may not work as well for animals of diverse sizes and types. Therefore, we offer a variety of compounded medications for animals that can be customized by strength, dosage, and flavoring to meet the specific needs of the animal. Whether tending to smaller animals such as dogs or cats, or larger animals such as horses, we can prepare high quality, custom compounds to fit your requirements.

Call or email us today to speak to one of our Customized Vet Medication Specialists to find out more about how we can help you better meet the needs of the animals in your care.

Quality & Safety Is Our Priority

Our pharmacy meets all USP <797> sterile compounding and USP <795> nonsterile compounding standards. In addition to utilizing an independent laboratory for sterility testing, Wells Pharmacy has made significant investments in both a Rapid Scan RDI scanner and Charles River MCS800 endotoxin screening equipment. This allows our pharmacists to access results within a few days, rather than the 14 days normally needed when sending a sample out of house for testing. A copy of the sterility report is available upon request with every sterile order. Wells Pharmacy understands that your needs are often immediate and unforeseen. To better serve our veterinary customers, we have streamlined our offerings so that you can have what you need more quickly.
