Product Overview

Semorelin1-6

Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide analog of endogenous growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH), consisting of the first 29 amino acids of the 44-residue natural human GHRH. It is used as a diagnostic agent and as a growth hormone secretagogue to stimulate endogenous production of human growth hormone (hGH) by the pituitary gland.

Theanine7-10

Theanine, a non-protein amino acid, was discovered in green tea in 1949. It can be also found in other teas including black and white tea and certain mushrooms. Theanine has structural similarity to the neurotransmitters glutamine and gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA). It shares the ability of these to cross the blood brain barrier. It has a caramel flavor and helps to alleviate the bitter taste of caffeine. In addition, it is thought to have many pharmacological properties including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, anti-cancer, anti-anxiety, metabolic, heart, liver and kidney protective, and immune effects.

Semorelin1-6

Sermorelin acts as an agonist at the GHRH receptor in the anterior pituitary, stimulating somatotroph cells to increase the synthesis and pulsatile release of endogenous growth hormone (GH). This in turn stimulates the liver to produce insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), which mediates many of the anabolic and metabolic effects associated with human growth hormone.

Unlike exogenous recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH), sermorelin stimulates physiologic GH production while preserving feedback regulation via somatostatin and IGF-1 pathways. This supports a more natural circadian rhythm of GH release

Theanine7-10

Theanine activity supports many different mechanisms of activity. As an antioxidant, theanine decreases reactive oxygen species development and increases the activity of antioxidant enzymes to decrease oxidative damage. As an anti-inflammatory, theanine decreases proinflammatory factors, including cyclooxygenase-2, prostaglandin E2, nitric oxide synthase, and nitric oxide. Theanine has been shown to be neuroprotective stimulating the release of glutathione. In addition, theanine has been shown to have a relaxing effect and help induce sleep and sleep duration. It increases GABA, serotonin, and dopamine to affect mood regulation. Thus, there is evidence to show that it has a role in helping depression and stress, as well as emotional and cognitive function. Theanine has been shown to increase cancer cell apoptosis and decrease cancer cell growth, decrease liver cirrhosis, decrease nephrotoxicity, and decrease vascular remodeling.
