Product Overview

Phentermine1-4

Phentermine, a stimulant of the sympathetic central nervous system, is used as an anorectic. It is a schedule IV-controlled substance.  The drug closely mimics amphetamine in activity and structure. The drug is also an analog of methamphetamine. Phentermine can be used itself or combined in lower doses with other drugs to enhance its effect. The drug has been approved since 1959 and is used for the following indications:

  • For the treatment of obesity (short term use in combination with reduced calorie intake and lifestyle modifications) in patients with a body mass index of 30 kg/m2 or patients with a body mass index of 27 kg/m2 with a comorbidity of hypertension, diabetes or dyslpidemia.

7-Keto DHEA5-8

7-Keto-DHEA is a naturally occurring metabolite of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). Unlike DHEA, it cannot be converted into sex hormones such as testosterone or estradiol. There is some evidence of effectiveness in the following areas: weight loss, metabolic support, improved immune function, and cognitive enhancement.

Calcium Pyruvate9-12

Calcium pyruvate is formed during carbohydrate metabolism (when glucose is turned into energy). It is the calcium salt of pyruvic acid. Calcium pyruvate has been studied for anti-inflammatory effects, cardioprotective effects, and as an aid to facilitate weight loss.

Phentermine1,2

Phentermine predominantly acts in the central nervous system (CNS), within the hypothalamus and limbic systems, where it works on appetite regulation. It stimulates the release of norepinephrine and dopamine from the nerve, and its reuptake is inhibited. The increased norepinephrine may decrease hunger through a reduction in hungry messaging.

7-Keto DHEA5,6

7-Keto-DHEA is believed to enhance thermogenesis (heat production) and basal metabolic rate by modulating the activity of 3 key metabolic enzymes, including: Glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, cytosolic malic enzyme, citrate lyase. These enzymes influence fatty acid oxidation and mitochondrial efficiency, contributing to increased energy expenditure by cells.

Calcium Pyruvate10,12

Calcium pyruvate is used as a source of energy to produce ATP aerobically. It is metabolized in the Krebs cycle and converted to acetyl coenzyme A. It can be a source of energy anaerobically when it is converted to lactate.

Phentermine1,2

  • Gastrointestinal-dry mouth, diarrhea, constipation
  • Central nervous system-insomnia, dizziness, restlessness, nervousness, tremor, headache
  • Cardiovascular-tachycardia, increased blood pressure

7-Keto DHEA5,6

  • Headache
  • Nausea or gastrointestinal upset
  • Mild dizziness
  • Irritability
  • Sleep disturbances (less common)

Because it does not convert into sex hormones, androgenic side effects (e.g., acne, hair loss, hirsutism) are rare or absent.

Calcium pyruvate9

  • Orally: Bloating, diarrhea.

Contraindications

Phentermine1,2

  • A known hypersensitivity to phentermine, 7-Keto DHEA, Calcium pyruvate or any of its ingredients
  • Contraindicated in pregnancy
  • Cardiovascular disease (coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, stroke, congestive heart failure, uncontrolled hypertension)
  • Hyperthyroidism
  • Glaucoma
  • History of drug abuse
  • Agitated states or severe anxiety disorders
  • Who have used monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) within the past 14 days

7-Keto DHEA5,6

  • Hypersensitivity to 7-keto-DHEA or any excipients in the product
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding (insufficient safety data)

Precautions

Phentermine1,2

  • Use with caution in patients with diabetes
  • Use cautiously in people operating machinery or driving a car

7-Keto DHEA5,6

  • Use caution in individuals with autoimmune diseases due to theoretical immune-enhancing effects.
  • May interfere with thyroid function tests (e.g., T3/T4 levels); however, clinical significance is unclear.
  • People with hormone-sensitive conditions may still want to consult a healthcare provider, even though 7-keto-DHEA lacks direct hormonal activity.

Store at controlled room temperature 59-86°F (15-30°C). Protect from heat, light, and excessive humidity, and store in closed containers.
