Richard Ho Shue – Inside Sales Representative
What do you do at Wells Pharmacy Network?
I am an Inside Sales Representative, with a focus on wellness medications.
What is the one lesson you’ve learned in the industry that has helped you most?
Being proactive! By keeping up on what’s happening in the industry, and constantly educating myself, I am able to keep my customers informed about any new changes regarding the availability of compounds and any new products that would directly affect their patients. In addition, this also helps customers manage the operation of their business, especially from a financial perspective.
What do you enjoy most about working with customers/clients?
Dual answer here! As a “people person,” I enjoy developing relationships with individuals, as many of them have developed into professional opportunities. And although I spend most of my time as a sales rep on the phone, I also try to meet my customers in person, to have the chance to build more personal relationships. In addition, I do my best to answer questions and solve problems for customers, because there’s no question that the more they know allows them to deliver higher quality services to their patients.
In your opinion, what value(s) do customers gain by working with WPN as opposed to competitors?
Based on regular feedback from our customers, I can say with the utmost confidence, that Wells Pharmacy Network has an outstanding reputation for having the highest quality products in the industry. Our customers tell us this because of the feedback they receive from patients. There is no question that WPN quality is among the best in the compounding industry.
How do you support WPN’s mission and dedication to improving the health and safety of customers’ patients?
As a team, the sales staff takes this mission very seriously! I am always in a learning mode to become more knowledgeable about the products we offer, in order to share accurate information with and educate our prescribers. This allows them to provide the best care for their patients.
Why are you proud to work at WPN?
I am proud to be a member of the Wells Pharmacy Network team because we are simply good at what we do! We are certainly not perfect, but we are recognized as one of the leading compounding pharmacies in the industry. Our team takes great satisfaction in this, and works hard every day to see that we continue to improve and get better.
What are the biggest challenges faced by WPN and its customers in the current healthcare environment?
At the moment, I think the biggest challenge WPN and its customers face is the overall “uncertainty.” By that, I am referring to the uncertainty brought on by the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. Clearly, it has had a major impact on the entire industry. Despite some intimidating challenges, Wells Pharmacy Network has been able to overcome the hurdles, and has worked hard to help our customers navigate issues they have had, and will continue to do so. Hopefully, we will be back to “normal” relatively soon.
